Theoretically you can put these on cereal or oatmeal or jazz up your trail mixez, but I wasn't able to be that patient in the face of crunchy sweet deliciousness and just downed the whole bag asap. They state a lot of obvious things on the package - I think we all know that strawberries are vegan- but what I wish was on the thick plastic zip lock package was a BPA free label or better yet just sell these in a cardboard box - what are they going to do, dry out?? Ha ha. Get it?
They dry 13 ounces of strawberries into submission to get this 1.2 ounce bag. That and being organic (the only way you really wanna go on strawberries as per the EWG list of most contaminated we've all read) explains the roughly $5.50-$6.00 per bag price. So I think considering the rate that I want to consume these, I just need to invest in a dehydrator, or whatever does this to strawberries. They pick really good berries to start- they were all very deep red- but I can't really justify the tremendous waste for a 5 minute snack. So Nature's All Foods, besides getting a less horrible name, can you environmentally befriend some different packaging?
